I have recently been introduced to Community Outreach & Advocacy for Refugees (COAR).  It is an organization that supports Refugees that have come to our great country to begin a new life. 

As a Cuban refugee, I arrived in Chicago in January of 1967.  My father, a tenth generation jeweler, had left the family business at the age of 25 and built a successful business in the hotel, restaurant and casino business.
