Nadia is a pre-medicine senior, majoring in nutrition at ASU. Her family migrated to USA from their home country of Iran in pursuit of a freedom of a higher education. She became involved with COAR through Reaching Higher as a mentor in 2006 and believes that the program is exactly what every immigrant needs in order to reach his or her dream. From there she decided to take a leadership role and become more involved with the program. Nadia is hoping to help every student take the much shorter way to their goals than she did. She is hoping to become a medical doctor soon.
